Green Environment
 
Green & Pollution free environment, especially hazardous chemicals is the concern of government, society and corporate. For example, in Europe they have made a mandatory legislation – RoHS compliance for Automobiles and WEEE compliance for Electronic Goods. They have set limits of following hazardous chemicals in Automobile & Electronic products.

So European Union have set limits of above hazardous chemicals in their country and similar legislation expected to be soon in other developed countries as well. Idea behind is to make environment pollution free and better life of the future generation.
 
 
   
Lead (Pb) : Less then 1,000 ppm
  
 
Mercury (Hg) : Less then 1,000 ppm
 
Cadmium (Cd) : Less then 100 ppm
 
Hexavalent chromium : Less then 1,000 ppm
 
 
 
For corrosion prevention, plating of hazardous chemicals like lead, cyanide, nickel etc. is used. Effluent treatment (neutralization) is very tedious & costly affair so it is drained as such, which is adversely affecting the environment.
  
       
 
The plating is not required on Stainless Steel Fasteners, therefore, Stainless Steel is Eco-friendly material and meeting the stringent European compliance of RoHS/WEEE. Moreover, disintegration (corrosion) of Stainless Steel is negligible, so loss of the value of product is almost nil in long term.
  
       
 
Finally, Stainless Steel is fully re-cyclable, does not have any hazardous effect - so it is Eco-friendly.
